It drives me nuts....what part of being polite is acting supperior?

ok.I think some people completely missed the fact that i'm talking about people being politely rude it makes no sense to do something your "scolding" others for doing

"Polite" people often have this annoying habit because they have forgotten that the point of etiquette is so that we can all get along and feel comfortable together in society, it isn't meant to be a test of someone's breeding.

Actually, its incredibly rude. The whole reason manners and etiquette exist is so that people feel comfortable. So, if someone uses 'manners' to make someone feel crap about themselves you are being very rude and have no idea about etiquette at all.

I correct my children's manners because it is my responsibility to teach them proper manners. To point out anyone else's lapses in manners would be an incredible lapse on my part.

i do beleive thats wrong but i beleive its beacuse they may have money with manners so when they see people that aren't, they get grossed out
