dodge neon battery drained?

Question

i have 98 neon R/T i was recently painting some vac hoses and then when i went to start it it didnt do a thing but cranked the only i disconnected electrically was the egr valve where the little vac hoses come together. then the when i connected every thing it fired a couple of times then it just cranked no fires anymore please help and no smart comments please thnks much also battery drains over night

okay dodge guy is the man i no i had the interior light on my mistake now why is my neon not firing it turns over but no fire please help

Battery; Clean of Corrosion? 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 Years Old or looks Swollen on the Sides Replace it! Bad Diodes in the Alternator Can Drain the Battery, Replace Alternator! Spark at Coil Wire? Coil & Spark Plug Wires Good? Cracked Insolation on the Wires will Cause a No Start!

look for something that is staying on in the car that could drain the battery down,anything like a light or glove box light,or anything you have hooked up to it recently,it has to either be a bad battery or something is draining the power from it,try disconcerting the battery cable for one night and see if it still has it power in it the next morning,that will tell you if its the battery or not,then go from there with it,good luck.

If it doesn't start, it's one of three things.

First, did you hook the erg right? I might replace it just to be safe.

Second, are you getting spark at the spakr plugs? if not then start t/s the electrical system.

Third, are your getting fuel to the cylinders. Your fuel pump may be disconnected or the relay might have tripped.

Are you optimistic the alternator you obtain isn't defective? different than that it appears that evidently like a floor fault. meaning, between the dozen or so grounds on the motor vehicle isn't grounding in simple terms right. sturdy success with that.
