Okay, my ex, when we went out a year ago, he cheated on me with my enemy, i caught them making out, well, he apologized a gazillion times, and i forgive him completly...but he said he still likes me a lot, and i know ive never stopped likeing him...and we've told each other. Now this kid has changed drastically, hes become a hardcore christian, he has a goal in his life, hes all i could ask for, but im not sure! i mean i dont want to get back into something I might regret later, my good friend says i should take the chance...what do y'all say, i just need a second input!

in my personal opinion...i completely 100% agree with once a cheater always a cheater. but it won't hurt to be friends. so i suggest you do that and just be friends with him. the closer friends you become, the more he confides in you and the more you'll know about him

Wow...it all depends on the guy I guess. I always felt that if a man cheated on you and you took him back, he will continue to cheat on you. BUT he can change with someone else. So once a cheater, always a cheater with one person, might not be for the other. AND...a woman's intuition NEVER lies...if you are having doubts about taking him back, than don't. Good Luck!

A cheater may change his or her ways. However, they've put doubt in the minds of those around them by their previous actions. Christianity alone does not mean someone is through cheating. If you love him, give one chance. If he cheats again, cut the cord and don't look back.

Pretty well. You would have to look long and hard in a group of cheaters to find an honest convert. This is very much like drug addiction. Do you want to take a chance? It isn't worth it.

People change and grow. The fact that he has matured enough to develop a goal in his life tells you that he's fully capable of changing his ways, including the cheating.

I'd keep my guard up and take it slow, but all in all, you just gotta have a little faith in him.

no --- i would have agreed as i was a cheater --- then i met someone that made me decide i could NEVER betray her ---- so all it takes is an act of will and a decision --- its actually quite easy --- best wishes

No people can change. If your impulses say to give it a go than go with that. Good luck
