how should i tell my best guy friend that we could still be friends if we broke up. see like we both like each other but he is araid to take a step higher because of our friendship. i want to convince him that we could make it and if we didn't (not hoping that we won't) that we could still be friends afterwards.

You think in a very mature way and that is awesome.You wrote the question and the same question could be used as a face to face talk with him. You have the concepts and the idea. Just be with him and tell him in the same way that you wrote it in Yahoo.Is simple.
