I just walked in to the biggest mess I've ever seen. The 2 culprits sitting there with ornaments everywhere and the poor tree lying in the floor! Love it!
Here's a picture of the poor tree. See Allie at the bottom with no remorse! http://www.flickr.com/photos/catsnkits/2009467418/
It was a beautiful tree when I left this morning!

best for you- we are the masters, precise? nicely, possibly the cats do no longer know that, yet possibly we can be a minimum of greater clever? I examine all the solutions, and an incredible style of of them have been precise- attempt some. I even have 6 cats and each has desperate despite the fact that if or no longer they are involved interior the Christmas tree. If desperate, they'll get in it. We first tried putting very jingly adorns on the tree, so as that should alert us to return shoo them away, yet that have been given demanding interior the process the night. Later we tried attaching grotesque plastic grocery bags to the decrease limbs, then aluminum foil- all of which they ought to have had an excellent laugh at. we've even tried the table good concept- despite the fact that this is particularly akward with a 6 foot tree! Now, years of Christmases later, we firmly base the tree so it does not tip over, placed breakable/useful adorns up greater and greater securely related. we've superior a slightly traumatic noise to yell whilst they attempt to coach the tree right into a toy that's something like, "Aaaannnn!!" a minimum of it distracts them and makes us think of as quickly as lower back we are the masters, no longer the cats. Merry Christmas!

i no longer have a big christmas, my two cats are very destructive when it comes to the xmas tree with the lights and round balls. i now have a small tree on top of a table and they still get to it. it is very cute though

It gets very annoying sometimes and the thing that you should do is.....get a spray bottle! spay and spray....but make sure that the cat doesn't know that you are doing it.... and the cat will eventualy stop attacking the christmas tree.

Beware the tree! Last year my kitty ate a 1 inch piece of the artificial tree. If she didn't "pass" it on her own it was going to cost $1500 in surgery to get it taken out.
We're still trying to figure out what we're gonna do this year. :-)
