I have 10 brothers and sisters. Yea it's a big family! My mother can't afford everything, so we only have so much. My older sister got a dog, and I saw her playing with it in the back yard so cute! All of the sudden she got a BAT and started beating the dog! I ran for my mom, and she got so MAD! What is wrong with her? That is so sick, and I am so mad at her!!!!!!!!!!! What do I do? I don't want this to happen again!

It is good that you went and got your mom. Keep an eye on your sister to make sure she doesn't do this again. people who mess with animals usually have something more wrong with them psychologically.

It depends. How old is your sister? Had she been upset earlier in the day? Was she jealous of the attention the dog had been getting? After all, it's hard to spread the love around to 11 children. By adding the dog, may have felt neglected. I think her beating the dog was a reaction to something else, may-be totally unrelated to the dog. Not just a simple action. I think you need to talk to her (or have a parent talk to her) to find out what's really going on with her.

You need to protect this dog by taking it to the pound and giving it for adoption. If you don't want to tell them what happened, then tell them you saw someone beating it with a bat. If you can't, then you need to ask your parents to do it for you. If they won't help, call animal control and ask them to pick up the dog. Your sister is going to torture and kill that innocent dog, and your family cannot allow that to happen. Tell a teacher, tell the police tell someone who will help that dog.
