What would happen if Jeff Gordon took out Jimmie Johnson, and Dale Jr. took out Jeff by accident? Who would win the championship?

The only way Jimmie can lose is if he finishes worse than 18th. IN ADDITION, Gordon would have to win and lead the most laps. If Gordon took out Jimmie, and Jr took out Gordon.....odds are that Jimmie would still win the championship. Jeff and Jimmie would most likely finish within 5 places of each other, which is nowhere close to the 87 points that Jeff needs to beat Jimmie.

It would depend what position Jimmy and Jeff finished. There would have to be an 86 point difference for Jeff to win the championship.
Bowyer would need to win the race while Jeff was scored last and Jimmy failing to qualify and get a 52 point fine.

If that did happan this is what it would be like. Do the math saying johnson is out last of 43 in the field. Ok then gordon gets knock out later. The only way for Gordon to win is be the 14th car at the end of the race but if he was 15th then johnsons wins. Now if both lead a lap or bonse on quty day of race then gordon wouls need to get taken out later in the race and be 12 or 13th to win.

Johnson would still win as Boyer is eliminated. The only way it could possibly happen is if Gordon took Johnson out on Lap 1 and Jr. Took Gordon out on the last lap. Johnson Finishing 43 and Gordon Finishing about 15th!!!!!

well since boywer cant win it hes to far back And your ? poses a lot of different scenerios it all really depends on when the have trouble and who has em first and on that note jimmie would have to finish 18 or better so if he faulters at or near begining hes a cooked goose
