Lemonade stands, lawn mowing, leaf raking, snow shoveling, dog walking, car washes (with a group of kids, but then you have to split the profit)...
Just go around the neighborhood (with an adult!!!) and let neighbors know that if they need any help with chores that you're (well, your brother) available to help for a donation. I wouldn't charge a specific price, you can always say no if they offer you $1 to shovel a mile long driveway. A lot of elderly people and stay at home moms will take your brother up on it.
Of course, if he is raising money for a good cause let people know-they'll be more likely to offer a job to do!
Good luck.

Can you get your parents to loan you $200 dollars for a small triple head candy machine? You can repay them probably from you profits in 6 months and then you can keep the rest. We bought two machines for our children as Christmas gifts. They each hold three different types of candy. They take quarters and we fill them with Skittles, Mike and Ike and Peanut M&M's that we buy at Sam's club or BJ's. I can't remember the name of the company we bought our machines from (Northeast, Northwest Distributors???). Anyways, the candy machine company actually calls stores in the mall closest to you and asks if they can place the machine in their employee break room. We currently have our machines in Aborcrombie, Aborcrombie and Finch and Old Navy. With the machines in the employee break room, you don't have to worry about the machine being stolen or paying the mall a fee for it being in a public area. They have had the machines for a couple of years, have bought a third machine and just bought a new computer with their profits. They just have to purchase the candy and refill the machines about every 5 weeks and roll the quarters. Good luck. Here is a link for a machine, I don't know if this company will find a place for you to put the machine though.

When I was 10 I did chores like making my bed and cleaning the kitchen up after dinner. Then I would get 10$ a week.

Ask a relative, Mom or Dad, to get you an Avon book and get orders in the neighborhood, sale lemonade outside your house on a hot day, or cokes for .50 cents ( when you paid .35 cents for each at the store) What are you raising money for anyway? good luck!

perhaps chores around the house, making errands, doing well in school then goiving money in return, walking the dog, pocket money, pet sitting, gift wrap, window washing, plant watering, car washing, making breakfast, setting up the dinner table, taking out the trash, selling unwated items eg. old toys.
the list goes on, you just have to think about.
