On Friday night I will be staying at a hotel at 7051 Sunset Blvd. and on Saturday I will be staying at the Comfort Inn at 4922 West Century Blvd. Is there a cheap way to get from Sunset Blvd to West Century Blvd?

Also, is it expensive to take a Taxi from AMTRAK to the hotel on Sunset Blvd?

taxis are very expensive in Los Angeles here's the fare

Fares (ordinances 177843 & 178050 , effective 10/01/06 and 12/25/06)

All Passengers Ride for Price of One

1. $2.65 Flag drop (First 1/7th mile).

2. $0.35 For each additional 1/7th mile ($2.45 per mile).

3. $0.35 For each 47.5 seconds waiting time and/or traffic delay ($26.53 per hour).

4. $42.00 Flat fare for trips between LAX and downtown.

Area bounded by Alameda St., Santa Monica Fwy., Harbor Fwy., Cesar E. Chavez, Union Station and Chinatown.

5. $2.50 Surcharge for all trips originating at LAX.

6. $15.00 Minimum fare for trips originating at LAX (In addition to the $2.50 surcharge)

from Union station you could try a shuttle (depending how much luggage you have or you could take the Red Line (subway to Sunset/Vermont station($1.25)_ then board a Metro Line line 2 or 302 to la Brea/Sunset(cost another $1.25)_
(or you can opt for day pass for $5.00
on Sunday, you can go to La Brea and/Sunset pay either $1,.25 or another day pass for $5.00) board the Line 212
this bus will take to prairie and Century Blvd (right near the Hollywood Park racing track) then you transfer to Metro 117 to Buford and Century and your other hotel should be right there
your hotel should be right there

Buy a MTA day pass for $5, you can ride bus all day.

From Union station( Amtrak) take Red Line to Sunset/Vermont, then take bus #2 to 7051 sunset near La Brea.

From 7051 sunset take #212 to blue line( Creshaw blvd), then Blune line to Aviation, which is very close to 4922 century blvd.

CSUN is placed in the San Fernando valley. I grew up in the Valley and would permit you recognize which you would be fairly upset in case you place self assurance in public transportation. Did I point out buses run possibly as quickly as an hour. The transportation equipment right here is actual for persons who're down and out, in assessment to the East Coast. you particularly want a automobile! then you definately can tension all around exploring all of California!

Taxi's are the EASIEST way to get from point A to point B. Now for the cheapest it's buses, but it might take you an hour to get to a 20 minute destination.
