Yes.

This model also has an analog tuner so it can tune in the old channels. It also has analog video inputs so you could hook analog VCR's & DVD players directly into it.

An ATSC tuner will let you receive over the air digital TV, including HDTV, using an antenna. The set also has a QAM tuner which will allow you to receive all digital TV that your cable provider sends out unencrypted, including HDTV. Finally, it has an NTSC tuner whih can receive OTA analog TV (until they stop transmitting in 2009) and all analog TV provided unencrypted by your cable provider.

Not sure but i know you can get the Sony Bravia LCD HDTV in a 42" for $ 799. at Wal Mart now.
