No I haven't, but if your doctors are well-qualified and have experience with those kinds of surgeries, you should be fine. It is actually fairly rare that anything goes wrong during major surgeries, contrary to popular belief. Good luck!

Not to worry. It will be over before you know it and they will send you home before the week is out.

My friend's husband had an operation last week and he is already home.

Don't be afraid. Doctors and nurses can do wonders nowadays!
