Good Lesson. What is the THEME of the Bible?
What is that theme? It is the vindication of God’s right to rule mankind and the realization of his loving purpose by means of his Kingdom.
To show this, reason on:
How this theme was originally introduced at the beginning of the Bible (Gen3:15)
How was the Bible’s theme emphasized by Ezekiel and Daniel? (Ezekiel 38:21-23; Daniel 2:44; 4:17; 7:9-14)
How does the Bible clearly identify Jesus as the promised Seed? (Galatians 3:16)
How does Revelation describe the grand climax of the Kingdom theme? (Revelation 11:15; 12:7-10; 17:16-18; 19:11-16; 20:1-3; 21:1-5)

Dear dahuckinator,
First wanted to ask you if this was your first time teaching Bible Study. Secondly wanted to ask you how old the group you will be teaching to will be?
You definitely need to pray and know the condition and needs of the people that you are teaching to- and allow God to direct you. Finding a passage and lesson is not difficult because one of the purposes of the Bible is to instruct us and so there isn't a passage in the Bible that we can't learn something from.
If you need any additional help you can email me.
Hope that helps. Kindly,
Nickster

Friend, there are thousands of bible lessons one could present from scripture. I agree with the above comment: YOU pray about it. YOU ask God for wisdom. YOU study. What good is someone's lesson?
But if you insist on using someone else's ideas, go to one of the hundreds of bible study websites and read.
start with
http://www.bible.com/
http://www.biblegateway.com/
http://www.blueletterbible.org/study/
god bless

Why not go old testament? like the story in genesis, Judah, the son of Jacob, it's a good one! What happens is, Judah's son dies, leaving a widow. By law, the widow was suppose to marry another of Judah's sons, but Judah said no. So she dressed as a harlot and went to Judah. They banged uglies, and she got pregnant. As payment he gave her some gold bracelets. When Judah discovered his widowed daughter in law was pregnant, he demanded she be put to death, becuase she was a whore. She whipped out the bracelets, he realized he had slept with her, and that her child was his son. He apologized for not allowing her to marry his other son. And cue the "Full House everything is all better now" music. The moral? It's perfectly fine for men to sleep around, but when girls do it, they should be put to death. Oh wait, is that a good moral??? Here's my moral. Don't teach out of the Bible. I am a Christian, but the Bible is a bunch of crap. It has been changed too much to meet the desires of men, it's not correct anymore.

JEREMIAH 23:28......True prophets and false prophets are as different as straw and grain. Straw is useless for food and cannot compare to nourishing grain. To share the gospel is a great responsibility because the way we present it and live it will encourage people either to accept it or reject it. Whether we speak from a pulpit, teach in a class, or share with friends, we are entrusted with accurately communicating and living out God's Word. As you share God's Word with friends and neighbors, they will look for its effectiveness in your life. Unless it has changed you, why should they let it change them? If you preach it, make sure you live it!

Teach about Jospeh in the latter part of Genesis. Show them how, he remained faithful to God, even when he was put in prison for something he didn't do. Because of his great faith, he became ruler over all of Egypt, only behind the Pharaoh himself.
