Defining die, statistics show that a person with depression dies earlier than a normal person. Which means that Depression cannot kill you in a year, it takes time and eventually if not treated can kill at an earlier age than people without depression. Same sympnosis as stress.

I don't know that depression alone will kill you,but it can certainley lead to thoughts about it.Before it gets that far you should really go talk to your doctor, and maybe get on some meds that may help you feel better. It's no fun being depressed, and I know because I have been myself for many years. But with the help of meds I've learned to somewhat deal with it. Good luck:)

YES! If one gets depressed enough then they will begin to idolize suicide and eventually attempt it. If you feel that you are depressed, seek the advice of a doctor as soon as you can before things get to bad for you to be able to handle.

Depression can be treated with a variety of medications today. Your doctor can work with you to determine the one that best works for you and minimize the side effects.

Noo! You can have physical symptoms such as

Over-eating
Over-drinking
Poor concentration
Violent or aggressive behavior in men
Not interested in your appearance or hygiene
Mood swings
Anger

The only way you can die is if you intentionally take your own life (suicide).

Technically, no. As in the depression itself will not cause you to die. Obviously, however, depression sometimes (but not always!) can lead people to suicide. In addition stress causes other, not necessarily fatal, health problems:

Upset stomach
Headache
Insomnia
Anxiety
Decreased effectiveness of the immune system

And I don't know about you, but when I'm feeling depressed, I'm usually stressing out about one or more things.

no longer particularly, except you made the conscious decision to end eating or something, yet we are so physiologically demanding under pressure to "survive" that no count number how undesirable we predict of we've it, or choose for to die, our effortless actual purposes wont only "end" because of the fact we are feeling to unhappy. it is thoroughly a mentality, voluntary or no longer.
