who doesn't like Monty Python , that movie is a classic and i think if there was a god it would have enough of a sense of humour to see the funny side of this piece of classic comedy.

Of course! Everyone enjoys watching "Life of Brian." And if I were God, I would have made "Life of Brian."

Yes, they were mocking the way movies portrayed the story rather than the story itself. The actual Jesus crops up several times in the story when the wise men realise they took their gifts to the wrong person and when Jesus was preaching the sermon. It makes it clear Brian was not christ
I think if God has humour it is zany humour like this.

If I were the God of the Old Testament, I would have had Brian drawn and quartered. Mind you, in those days, I had no sense of humor. My replacements aren't much better, either.

Sure. "Life of Brian" uses fewer extrabiblical sources than "The Passion" and probably portrays the times more accurately. Sure, it's comedy and that's not it's intent, but at least it's not a snuff film.

If it was playing at the Cinemark 12 in Springfield Oregon, yeah, I would have loved it. On Monday, you can watch 3 movies for $1.50. And what's better, if you're God, you could probably sneak in. You could pretend you were the floor.
