ok, i'm a catholic, i go to church every week and i'm always willing to help others out whe they ned help, especially older people like the elderly. I love all my family and i dontate to charity and charity shops for poor countries. Thats the good side. The bad side is that i go on porn and masturbate. I don't know if this is ok or not because like I dont think theres anything wrong with it but my religion does. I need to know, will the bad side get me a one way ticket to hell or is it whats inside and what i do for others that counts?

I would hate to be involved with any religion that throws anyone into confusion.
Of course masturbation is NOT wrong. And neither is porn. The church would want you to believe other wise, but I found out they know jack from dogs poo many many years ago. And the same applies to day.
So, carry on shaking hands with yourself, its good for the tubes as well. Keeps them free and clear. And that is just on a medical note.

Ah. The masturbation thing again. Such a shame that people can't just get on with it without fear of retribution. Which is best? Masturbation or rape of another person through sheer frustration? Religion has one hell of a lot to answer to.

Catholicism hates masturbation because it does not increase the Catholic population, unless you donate your *** to a sperm bank. Most religions frown on fun activities, and masturbation is certainly lots of fun. Especially if you grip your friend in a tight handshake and masturbate to your own drummer. And don't worry about wasting your seed. There's lots more where that came from.

As long as you don't associate sex, with some of the negative morality in most pornography. You have to have a healthy moral attitude torward sex. Also don't get excessive with masturbation, and it should be okay. It is better to do this, and be a virgin, and avoid the dangers of unsafe sex or bad relationships.

I don't think it is. You're not hurting anyone (as someone posted before) and you still have good intentions. :) As for going to hell, better not ask me as an atheist, but as I said earlier, you have good intentions so that should count. :)

Masturbation is completely normal and practiced by most humans and other mammalian species. It is found to reduce stress and carries no risk of pregnancy or sexually transmitted disease.

i dont recall anything in the bible or any religous text prohibiting masturbating.
it obviously isnt that bad anyway. i mean, if it could send you to hell, i think they would put more emphasis on it in your church. :]

The only thing that could be wrong (or bad) is if you make a mess on your screen or your keyboard or mouse, and it's a shared computer.
