I like to work with my manager, but don't like the company. I'm going for similar position, but higher pay. Will you tell your manager that you going to an interview? I keep taking half days or leave early too.

I wouldn't. There's no reason to, especially if you're not sure that you'll get the job.

Don't do it - if your manager finds out, he may not like it or even worse fire you and if you don't get the other job, you'll be out of luck...keep it a secret until you know you're hired, than put in your 2 weeks

Wow,wow,wow.You and your business,your manager and the one h/s is managing.Take a day off,go do your thing.Telling your manager,is like revealing a two days pregnancy to your family.DON'T DO IT!

No way! Not until you are ready to give your notice. If your manager is a true professional, he/she will understand.

No, defiantly not! if you were to let them know, you could very well loose your job. i worked with someone who made it clear she was looking else wear and they let her go that same day. just keep doing what you are doing and dont let it be known that you are looking for something else. you dont want to look bad!
