ive only been taking it a few days and everytime i take it i end up with a sore head and i cant understand why.

There has been a low incidence of problems reported with mebeverine, thus, there are limited reports of side effects on the available online and pharmacy patient handouts. However, during the clinical studies on mebeverine, headache was one of the most commonly reported side effects. Discuss this issue with your doctor. If there is no better medication for your care, then limited use of paracetamol and some increase in fluids would help with the headache.

Ive never had a patient complain of headaches while taking it, are you drinking enough fluids? You should make sure you are drinking plenty with mebeverine, lack of fluids can cause headaches.
The most common side effects with mebeverine tend to be rashes and skin problems, try upping your fluids and see if it continues. If it does, mention it to your doctor.

Apparently it can cause CNS excitability but no mention of headaches, maybe that's how it manifests itself?
