I'm a wife, but my husband(and I) believe that its is the responsiblity of the husband to show Christs love to his family and his wife, just as Christ loved the church, like it says in Eph. 5. Since the husband is to be the head of the household I think this makes perfect sense.

Your question gives a question.... what do you mean? I assume you mean order of responsibility. God says the husband is first in raising the family, spiritually... He has full responsibility. He is fully responsible in choosing the church, etc. Yes, it can be a joint decision, but God holds him, only, as responsible! Second in command, spiritually is the wife.. She is a supporter of the Word as is the husband. Any disagreement could end up in Pastoral hands. The WORD of God is as Christ and the KJV is the most accurate of any version. Strong's tells us this by looking up the different translations. John 3:16.. It is SHOULD and not SHALL! The Prayer of Jabez... it is cause pain or is it not feel pain! See the difference? Raise you family looking at the KJV and comparing to others. The church MUST teach the absolute Word of God, according to the most accepted, the KJV, or they could be a cult! A husband's decision on what is taught, and he better be right! The Strong's is the most accepted translation to compare! You have it made as a wife, if you have a Godly husband! Don't abuse it or God may judge you. He is in authority.. Disagree with him? You have that right, if God's Word says he is wrong... tell him! He may go crazy loving you in your in-site! God bless. Biblically it is the Fathers. Ephesians 6:4 "Fathers, ...bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." But they can delegate responsibility also.

I'm not a father (or a man...) but in my family it was both of my parents.

Partly church, because we went. But my parents did most of the teaching and leading.

It is the Catholic Church that has the authority and the responsibility of teaching as given by Christ. there is no other authority on earth.

In Christ

the whole family (older siblings can help by showing interest in it). You can bring them to the church, but don't expect them to be very enthusiastic about their religion if you basically just drag them to church and don't talk about it at all outside of that setting.

i would say it was both,

the church will do the teaching and maybe you could discuss this will the child to increase their understanding of what has been discussed.

reading the bible and understanding it is two different things!

God bless
