Also
JESUS DENIED DIVINITY
Mark 10:17-18 and Luke 18:18-19
These verses are most indicative of Jesus' position and real nature. The verse in Mark reads:
"As he [Jesus] was setting out on a journey, a man ran up and knelt before him, and asked him, 'Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?' Jesus said to him, 'Why do you call me good? No one is good but God alone."
If you analyze this verse in truth you will see that Jesus, quite simply, is not God. If he was, why then would he say "No one is good but God alone"? Jesus did not want to be called "good" because he was not God. That title, as Jesus admits, belongs to none but God.

I have two favorite Bible verses.
One is Luke 9:62 :
And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
And the other is Psalm 95:3:
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

I have several favorite Bible verses.
Joshuah 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”
Proverbs 3:3-5 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all you ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
1 John 5:11-12 "And this is the testimony that God gives eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life, he who does not have the Son of God does not have life."
1 Corinthians 10:13 "No temptation has overtaken you, except that whish is common to man; but God is faithful, Who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make a way of escape, that you may be able to bear it." This verse is so true. Over and over God gives me a way out of temptation.
1 John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 "Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, one will ift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is no another to lift him up."
Those are just a few. Have a good day!

" For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light." - 2 Corinthians 11:13-14
I like this verse because it talks about how, Satan's only real power over mankind is deception. He has no authority over God. He knows he's defeated. He cannot win. But as a master of deception, he can fool mankind and make them think he does have authority. It also talks about how Satan himself was an angel, and can still appear as an angel, to fool people and lead them down the wrong path.
This can also be used as a metaphor for people. Don't judge a person by what they are on the outside. They may seem like a nice person, but deep down, they may just be wearing a mask
A wolf in sheep's clothing.
