Do you think God would approve?

Anyways, it is official. The doctor has confirmed my wife is 6 weeks pregnant.

Now the fear and excitement is settling in... ;-)

It doesn't really matter with pregnancy, does it? If she's pregnant, sooner or later you will know she is whether you rely on a doctor or on faith!

Anyway, officially Congratulations, Dad-to-be!

You cannot rely upon faith alone for anything, much less on anything important.

Think about it. You simply cannot believe in anything, and then it must be true. Otherwise Father Christmas, the tooth fairy, Easter bunny, etc are as real as what religions preach.

For something to be true - there is the proof and evidence for it being real. Religion cannot offer us any proof, and so they put in the faith clause - which is a foolish one.
There is 'preaching' all the time with religion - again, because they have to brainwash us, into believing what they say - which ain't so....

congratulations! =)

i'm not sure about your question -- "more final"? -- but expert opinion is expert opinion.

you probably let a priest or minister explain obscure Bible passages, right? would you feel as comfortable if your IHOP server were to do the same?
