I have this breaded, but uncooked bag of chicken wings. Before i cook them in the oven, they look normal, but after I cook them up, a brownish/black liquid comes out of them. Ive eaten them before and none of us got sick, and it happens everytime we cook them. Is it bad that this happens? Or is it just something that happens when cooking raw chicken? Im a college student, so im no cooking pro. And no, the chicken is not expired (checked that right away before we ate).

Next time before you cook the chicken stab a small knife threw it as close to the bone as possible and soak it in cold water to draw out some of the blood it will reduce the blood

It comes from the blood in the bones. I know I baked a chicken last night and I stuffed the inside with bread stuffing, and when I was scooping it out, this red kinda foamy stuff was inside the bird too. Kinda gross, but it tasted fine.

It's blood. Nothing to worry about. I always cut chicken to the bone and twist the knife to make sure it is cooked all the way through. Nothing worse than getting to the bone and seeing bright red blood there.

This is a relatively recent occurrence, years ago black garbage didn't cook out of the bones. More of Monsanto's adultery.

I believe its old blood. Old blood turns brown/black. I have seen it too when I fry chicken, its disgusting but it doesn't make me sick.
