You may think that she gets enough exercise from the yard, but dogs need to be walked DAILY for at LEAST thirty to forty-five minutes. This could be a behavioral problem caused by being contained only in the yard and/or house. Remember that all dogs' ancestors, the wolf, covers hundreds of miles each week.

You have to stop her from doing it dogs can go loopy if they chase their tail too much!! Whenever she does it, say a loud NO and make her sit and stay still for a little while to you think she's calmed down.
Or when she does it, say NO and give her a toy to play with (maybe even a kong with food in it). That way she'll think, hey i can't chase my tail but i can play with the toy instead!!
I have a bullterrier x, they are really smart but really stubborn and always full of energy!! They're clowns too, so funny to watch.

OCD is sadly common in Bull Terriers. See your vet. There are medications and behavioral modifications that can help.

Please have your vet check her out ASAP. I wish I didn't know and you may not want to hear this but many times it is a symptom of brain damage. Also there is a hereditary neurological disorder that bull terriers are prone to, see website noted below for more information. Hope this helps. good luck and God Bless.

it's a behavioral problem, they are very active dogs and need to stay active or this problem can progress to destruction of propety or aggression. you see this alot in dogs like heelers, dalmations, terriers, high energy dogs. better start going to the park once they turn bad they stay there!
