Its all to do with wind direction mainly - and it's usually in the north (Scotland) and on the coast where there are strong winds

It depends on the local council if they want snowy winters or not.
Its all up to the mayor. If you want a snowy winter try calling the mayor and let him know. He will pull the snow lever if enough people ask him to. Unless they dont have any snow ploughs. Citys with lots of snowploughs need lots of snow to keep em busy.

Easy explanation: Some places cold, some are hot

Why: the sun points towards the eqautor, The most heat goes to the area of the eqautor. Places that are farther away are colder, so when it rains the water freezes into snow. Making it snow in cold places and not in hot

especially global warming some city that dose have snow dose not snow snow than normal winter. like for two days they will have snow just for a year sometme they do ont even have snow for a year and you have to wait until the next year to get snow I think Seattle rarely get snow now due to the high rise rain so I can say it it have to diwht global warming there might not be snow in certian towns in the usa

Because some places have cold, wet winters (eg. Buffalo, NY) and some are warm and dry, like Las Vegas.

if a town is located near the north or south, it's colder, those that live closer to the equator don't get it b/c it's too hot

so when the sun is on the opposite side then its cold(night).
when its winter..then it gets soooo cold that it snows
