Why am I always congested?

I suffer from allergies and post nasal drip. I use nasonex and i clean my sinuses using a nasal cleansing pot. all day im congested and when i wake up in the morning there is so much mucous in the back of my mouth. Now my throat hurts and i can't seem to get rid of my congestion.

I do not think nasonex works very well.

I take an allergy pill and 3 or 4 hrs later take a sinus pill.
I use Vicks Sinex or the store brand that is comparable to sinex.

You may need a steroid to break up the congestion if you are unable to breath without trying to blow your nose all day.
When my nose was so stuffed up that I couldn`t breath and slept sitting up,
my dr. gave me Methylprednisolone and it worked great.
I am allergic to my dog, my hubbies cigarettes, dust, pollen, perfume, and even
when it is cold out, I must have the window
open some when I sleep or I wake up and cannot breath.

Sounds like a case of bad intestinal bacteria, need dietary changes, lots of greens, no red meat , sugar or milk. Lots of pre and probiotics, and Hydrocolon therapy, it helped me after years of suffering with sinus congestion and headaches every day for about ten years. After the second hydrocolon therapy, my sinuses cleared and I only have congestion in the AM and PM now.

Try Rhinocort nasal inhaler. Also, get an air purifier/humidifier and try cutting dairy products out of your diet.
