It means the honeymood period is dying down.... In the begining its all fun and flirting and does he like me? and sweet nothings and butterflies in your tummy... just the general excitement of new love.

After some time this dies down and you are just left with the core of who eachother are. At the start you cant think of anything but eachother but after that first few months you both will somewhat feel like returning to your old life. This means new interestes and old intrests will make a comeback causing the calls to quieten down a little. As long as your relationships is strong and you are both happy i dont see this being any reason to worry. :)

It really could mean that he has no min on his phone..Or that he had other things to do ..Your just new in this relationship give it some time.Tell him that you like it when he calls you. Be honest and ask him if there is something you guys need to talk about. don't force him to say something he doesn't want to . If he says everything is cool then stay with that..Communication and honesty are good things in a relationship and if you start practicing them then you will have a good relationship..Good luck

some guys really are not ready to settle done so they are all over you the first month then the next month they chill out because the whole relationship thing freaks them out. do worry about it. it seems healthy not to freak out about not talking to each other every day. you don't want to over do it with him . i would just ask him why he doesn't call so much then you will know and maybe it will be a great time for him to open up to you about how he really feels. be blessed
