It's hard for me to figure out exactly what you are asking. Only 2 of your cats pee?? or only 2 or 3 don't use the litter box???

Have several liter boxes. Some cats do not like to use the same box as other cats. Keep it clean. Some litter works better than others. Be sure their food is one that does not irritate their bladders (your vet can help you there...ask)

Clean the house thoroughly and use the sprays that kill odors
And really stay on top of the problem. Training 4 cats at the same time is a problem.

You can actually train them to use the potty. Go to the pet store and scan some cat training books. There is a thing you put on the potty that you put some litter on and they use the potty and eventually you take away the cover with the litter. Don't teach them to flush it!!

My sister had the same problem with her cat. She had a certain litter box the cat used when she first got her, and it had no lid. Well about a year later she bought a new litter box, and it had a lid on it. She didn't know why her cat kept peeing on EVERYTHING!! She took her to the vet, and tried new litter, but nothing worked. Then she finally took the lid off of the litter box, and low and behold no more peeing on everything. Cats get accustomed to doing things in a routine manner. So if you have done anything new lately try going back to the way you did it first. Good luck, I hope I have been of some help.

First of all, you should never hit your cats or rub their faces in the pee- they will be jerks just because you hit them and they will start to fear you (causing more pee incidents).
Clean everything very well. You can use an enzyme cleaner (available at the pet store) to neutralize the odor so they quit using the same places to pee. You can also try putting a tarp or plastic over where they pee, so you stuff doesn't get damaged and it's easier to clean up.
Make sure you have at least 1 litter box for each cat. You may also want to watch them to see if one of the kitties is "ambushing" the others. My sister's cat was having problems using the litter box because my cat was ambushing her every time she'd try to use the litter. Every time she'd try to go, my cat would go up and scare her out of the box, leaving her no choice but to use the floor, couch or bed as her bathroom. When I saw what was happening, I felt horrible. We went out and bought the kind of litter box with a lid and he couldn't terrorize my sister's cat anymore when she was trying to go- problem solved!
Make sure the litter is clean. Experiment with different types and amounts of litter- some cats like a lot of litter, some don't. Some like scented, some like unscented. You may find that it's helpful to have several different types of litter box set-ups for your different cats.
Hope this helps-good luck!

Are they using the litter box? Or just peeing around the house? For that number of cats you should have at least 3 litter boxes. Cats are pretty is to litter train. Are they all spayed or neutered? Boys may spray their "scent" to mark their territory.

You can also change their food so that it will not smell so strong of ammonia.

male cats will pee to mark their territory, and once they start they won't stop.cat pee is the hardest and worst smelling odors to be rid of,especially if they are not spayed or neutered, you may never get them to stop peeing
