3)Do you prefer striking or grappling
4)What make you decide to do martial arts
5)Why did you specifically choose aikido?
6)Do you believe in the concept of ki?
7)Have you used ki?
8)Do you train in any other arts? Do any other arts interest you?
9)How has your training help you in everyday life? As in self defense, discipline, health, etc...
10)Do you have any martial artist you look up to?

I would ask the most basic question of, "why did you start to take martial arts". Along with that since this is an interview I would also ask them what skills, other than physical ones, has their martial arts training helped or enhanced for them along with the few more obvious ones that people have already mentioned like how long have you studied, etc.

Who is your Master instructor?
Why do you teach?
Who accredits your school?
