Are you sure about that? I would think anubis would be hard to kill--house of the dead and all.

Um...well to be loyal Thor. LOL Well no actually, Thor is pretty violent in his approaches while Anubis is of the underworld and the dead.
Yeah..gotta go with Thor. He has the Mjolinr

Ohhhh yeah I didn't think of that. Thor is actually mortal. He can be killed, BUT he won't die until Ragnarok. Anubis is immortal....man I can't choose!!

Ditto Mike H. Certainly Thor.

Hail Thor, Hail the Thunderer!

Nah. It wouldn't be a grand fight.

In such a case, Anubis would be what is called a "One hitta quitta", meaning Thor would hit him once with Mjolnir, and it'd be over.

Then Thor would help him to his feet, dust him off, and share a horn of mead with him.

Cause Thor's cool like that.

to each his own, Thor has his tactics, and so does Anubis. I think being the God of the dead means he can't be killed, so there for I believe Anubis would win. If he can't be killed how do you win a battle between two Immortal Gods?

Goddess Bless.
Blessed Be.

Anubis. He's always been my favorite of the Egyptian Gods.

And don't be so certain Thor would win. Anubis is much older, and therefore probably wiser. Plus, he's a darn good looking God.

(Trust me on that. I looked at a gazillion Anubis statues trying to find just the right one while I was in Egypt a few weeks ago. And no, I didn't find the one I was looking for.)

Hmm, let's see... the judge and guide of the dead vs. the slayer of giants and other monsters (including Jormangandr, a serpent big enough to circle the entire world).

No contest. The thunderer would totally kick butt... assuming the jackal lord did not slink off into the shadows to hide.

Hail Thor!

Anubis is too classy. He can't lose. He'd send Thor packing without the benefit of any mummified cats or servants.

Thor's hammer is viscious.

I'm glad you answered your own question; for a moment I thougth you had serious doubts about who would win...that silly jackel-headed freak would have his skull split in two three seconds into the fight.
