if you sin continuously and repent... that is not really repenting at all. Repenting will change in attitude and you will stop sinning... once we become a christian, the bible says, we are a new creation.. the old has gone.. the new has come.. we now have a personal, loving relationship with God... if people continue to sin after receiving Christ, that person not be Christian at all... God looks at inner heart.... he is your friend, counselor, loving father.. alpha, omega.... he is not genie.... if you love God, know the word, have a personal relationship with him, there is no room for you to sin.

Do you know what you are doing is a sin, if so, you better stop and talk to God to help you so you don't, if we have past sins then we need to pray for forgiveness, and repent and turn away from them. Have you asked confessed Jesus Christ as YOUR savior who went to the cross for your sins, if you haven't it would be a good time.

Consider sin like crime - repentence may be appropriate, but it does not atone for the violation of law. Hence the need for the atonement made by Christ. While repentence is necessary, it alone is insufficient. One must also confess and be baptized into Christ (Acts 2:38) in order to receive full atonement

Hey Honey,
If you have sinned un-knowingly and repent, than yes you are forgiven, but if you are doing it knowingly, and than go to repent, you are just fooling yourself. Don't get me wrong, God is ever loving and ever forgiving, but you still do pay for your sins. What goes around comes around. Earth is hell and you have to pay your dues before you can go up to heaven. Good luck.

What is sin? And why should God punish you when you only punish yourself when you think about the bad things you have done!

God is merciful & forgiving ...

Let's say that u'r asked to clean up u'r room. Well, u don't ... for 2 years ... Ewww ... u have rotting twinkies (if that's possible) and other gross stuff. Going to God and saying "Sorry, my bad" ... well, God's going to forgive you. He may or may not help u clean u'r room depending on u'r relation with him. So, u'r left the the mess that u may have to clean up on u'r own but u'r still forgiven. However, if u were to allow twinkies to rot (if that's scientifically possible) I'd bet God would send u someone like u'r Mom or a loving brother to help u ... Ah, repentance ... say u'r rooms now clean ...a true repenting would be for u to keep u'r room clean & not let twinkies rot.

God really isn't in the buisness of punishing, not since Jesus died to cover the sins of everyone. He may test you though, in order to build your character. It is the devil who will bring feelings of guilt, depression, and low self worth upon you.

If you confess your sins, He is faithful and just to forgive you your sins. However, there are always consequences for our actions.
