Almost all the Ivy League schools have stellar law programs. If being a prosecutor is your bias, those are the best. If you would like to be a detective the best thing you can do is find a local respected and accredited college that offers a major in criminal justice, but don't stop there. Join the city police or the county sheriffs department as a Jr. member. Volute er for crowd control, parking and security detail. Experience can get you a long way especially if you show initiative and conduct yourself honorably.

Yale University is the best law school for you to become an excellent detective or lawyer just like the Clintons - a former President and a prospective President.

An accredited college with a criminal justice program. Be careful, some private, for profit, trade schools like ITT Tech are offering programs in CJ, but are not in the same league as a good state college that will cost you half as much.
