If you feel this strong about it, just ask her out. But, be warned - If the relationship doesn't work out, there's a good chance, you can ruin the friendship. Go with your heart. Since you found out that she likes someone using a "fake" e-mail address, she may have meant YOU since she didn't know who was on the other side of the PC. :) You don't want to worry about the "What If?" later, right?

Only thing you could really do is start chilling with her outside of school. Get her number and try calling her sometime during the week and ask her to chill with u. Try to analyze her by talking to her more of what she likes or dislikes and then you go from there. Only time will tell after chilling abunch when she will develop true feelings for you. If she doesn't, who cares, now you got yourself a good friend, and one day she might just be all over you, It happened to me.

If you like her that much the best thing is for you to be HONEST! Tell her how you feel and let her know that if she doesnt feel the same then you can remain friends. She will respect you more, maybe even look at you differently because she's aware that you value the little things such as a simple friendship.

If she's interested in someone else at the moment, your best bet is to take things slow.
I'd suggest flirting with her a bit but you say she's only interested in you as a friend... so don't get your hopes up just to end up dissapointed.. I'd work on my confidence if i were you before anything.

Maybe that "fake" email address was true...it could happen! I dont know...its very hard to tell you. Um...if you had an interest in her...even a little you should have told her at the beginning because guys can easily become just friends to girls. I dont know what to tell you. a good clue would be if she shows interest back....if she doesnt then dont try to get her to notice you in that way. Good luck!

I don't know how to get a friend to become more than a friend. It is always when I meet my friends in the first time, they are trying to become more than a friend.
If you are really like this girl, you should be dedicate to her, show her your admiration to her in many ways, care her, do what she like...
