Iraq smells like burning garbage and I am starting to hate it. The urban area is like a bloody maze, maybe I just have to get use to it.
The iraqi army seem easy going and smarter than the afghans thats for sure.
Hey just asking why aren't we allowed to raid terrorist infested mosques?

Because just like Viet Nam, the military does not make the calls, the politicians and the news media do

But in previous posts you told us you were "there" before, when you were commenting on how bad the U.S. troops were performing!!

Your childish whining about the smells, is not really convincing anybody that you are a real 100% genuine Australian S.A.S "Operative" .

at least over there, the entire country doesn't smell like mold and strong mildew the way vietnam smelled

The media would be in an uproar. Yes, we may save hundreds of lives, but it would not be Politically Correct enough for them.
