Let's make a game of it, can you guess what names are siblings. They are from families of:
3 boys (22, 21, 12) 1 girl(14), 1 girl (8) 1 boy(12), 3 boys (7,5,3).

People don't understand that the families are as follows:
Family 1: 1 girl (14) 3 boys (22,21,12)
Family 2: 1 girl (8) 1 boy (12)
Family 3: 3 boys (7,5,3)

Daniel and Maria are good.

I don't like Kevin - it's an Essex boy's name.

Kevin -I have a soft spot for Kevin, as that's my fiance's name. However, I don't like it much outside of my man ; ) I like Gavin a lot more.

Micheal -I don't care for this spelling, I like Michael a lot more. It's very common in the US, but I like it as a middle name, as my best friend is a Michael.

Jack -It's a nice nickname, but I'm not a huge fan of it as a given name.

Shannon -It's cute. I work with a large black guy named Shannon, though, and he sucked the cute right out of the name.

Shea -It's fun. I knew a Shaeffer growing up who went by Shae. It's nice.

Daniel -I work with a total flirt named Daniel. I'm not a huge fan, but I like my friend Daniel, so I don't mind it.

Aidan -Ooh, I used to love Aiden, but it's a very common name in the US now, just like Braydon, Hayedynn, Kaiden, etc.

Maria -It's fine, I don't really have an opinion of it.

Cathal -I really like it. I wish I lived in Ireland so I could use Cathal, Caoimhe, and Niamh without people butchering them.

And the game! Corrected, because I'm slow and don't read well, apparently ; )

3 boys (Michael, Cathal, and Kevin) and 1 girl (Maria)

1 boy(Shea) and 1 girl (Shannon)

3 boys (Daniel, Jack, Aiden).

Kevin - Fairly straightforward; not my favorite, but no problem with it.

Michael - I've always liked this name, but it is fairly common.

Jack - I tend to think of Jack as a nickname, so I'm not a big fan of it used as a normal name. Also, it's fairly common and a little too simple for me.

Shannon - No real problem with it, but not my favorite.

Shea - First thought was "shea butter", but if you get past that, it's kind of pretty. More or less so depending on middle/last name.

Daniel - Another name I've always liked, but is also fairly common.

Aidan - I LOVE this name for a boy. Celtic and slightly unusual, but easy enough to spell and pronounce. It's a strong, slightly artistic name, and I'm a fan.

Maria - Although I don't think it's a bad name, this is another one that is just a little too common for me - too many Mary's, Marie's, and Maria's for my taste.

Cathal - Now, while I liked Aidan because it was less common, I'm not as big a fan of Cathal unless it's used as a middle name.

A like all of them but Cathal (if you have to spell it out for us imagine all the trouble he's going to have)

My favorites: Maria, Aidan, and Shea

I like Jack, Daniel, and Aidan the best. I tend to think that any name that you have to write out phonetically (like Cathal) is probably not the best, or at least not the best way to spell it (for your child's entire life every year at school when teachers read his name they'll always butcher it).

Kevin I HATE! I had a horrible boyfriend named Kevin. ugh

Michael I love, it's an awesome name.

Jackson I really LOVE, I'd call him Jackson. It's very mature and sophisticated. Not Jack.

Shannon seems dull to me.

Shea reminds me of Shea Butter.

Daniel is AWESOME especially for a middle name.

Aidan is OK.

Maria is elegant and simple, it's very lovely.

Cathal I don't like.
