Sorry I was just trying to stir the pot, and I know not all Christians are hypocrites.

The fruits if you look back at it's history is not a very Godly study.

Inquisition, political interference and influence, apathy, bannings, mob violence, executions, indulging in the wars of nations even against their own brethren of their faith, worldly conformity, pagan influences and observences. And this is not just Middle ages history this was also in the 20th century.

Thou there are lots of sincere christ minded people they have been let down by the religious leaders who have sought their own ends first.

Are most? I don't know about most but I know there are alot...I know that even as a Christian myself I find myself being hypocritical at times but I praise God for forgiveness and I always seek forgiveness from others if I say something offensive or hypocritical....

All of the ones I know are. They are catty, gossipy, judgmental, and most certainly think they can do no wrong. Those are just the ones I know. There must be a non-hypocritical one out there, somewhere........

hypocrite:
1 : a person who puts on a false appearance of virtue or religion 2 : a person who acts in contradiction to his or her stated beliefs or feelings

And no, not everyone is an hypocrite. Just clearing that up.

Most, to some degree or another. In their defense, I'm kinda glad; a non-hypocrite would be a fanatic, we already have too many of those!

If "hypocrite" means you say you believe something, but act in ways contrary to what you say...then I think most humans are hypocrites.

Personally, I think if you want to know what a person believes, watch what they do. Everyone lives what they believe, though not always what they PROFESS to believe.

i am spirit filled and i think that alot of Christians are hypocrites. they use church to look good. none then read the bible or even really try to be Christ like. don't get me wrong i am not prefect but the my goal is to fix what i am doing wrong not to sit and judge everyone Else's walk with God. i Christan's would stop labeling them selves Christan's and start being more Christ like then real Christan's wouldn't have the label of being a hypocrite.

Yes. Because most PEOPLE are hypocrites, whether they'd like to admit it or not.

And Christians are still people.
