No, he was an alcoholic and a lousy father. But I loved him anyway. It's that bloodline thing going on, I guess.

My father is a role model for absent fathers everywhere. He got out of paying child support, ever having to see us, or even having to speak to us, he is an example for all dead beat dads, but for me-NO.

My father is definitely a role model to me. I love him, I don't know how people "could care less about their fathers." That's selfish and cruel.

Yes.
Ever since I was a small child, my father has been one of the few people who I really look up to. He's hard working and determined, but has a very open mind and is accepting to almost everybody who he comes across. He truly is an inspiration, for both me and my family.

No, not a role model. He's a complicated person with a lot of problems. He's taught me some lessons in life - what NOT to do.

Yes, my father has shown me how to be a good parent. You do what you have to do to take care of your kids. He has also taught me good morals and self respect. Most importantly he still loves me no matter what mistakes I have made in life. He is the kind of father that is rare to find these days and the type of father my husband strives to be for our kids.

Yes! i love my father. He's been through soo much. He's stuck to it and made everything right. I don't know where I would be with out my father. He has helped me so much in everything. Well i think i should stop and not get into too much.

I love my daddy more than anything. sure he does some crazy things with his friends, sure we get into some fights, but he is a good role model for me.
now that doesn't mean I want to be him though....

Nope not in the slightest. Don't get me wrong - my Dad is a nice guy to have a beer with, but a louse of father.
He is everything that is wrong with deadbeat fathers in this world -- in fact he gives the term deadbeat father a bad name.
