After giving a quick lecture on how atheism is not a belief, religion, ideology, etc... I would slam the door in his/her face. The day that the oppressed become the oppressors and atheism turns into another dogmatic belief system is the day that I will no longer call myself an atheist.

They have absolutely NOTHING to back their beliefs, so how convincing could they ever hope to be? I guess they'd just have to spout the same garbage as the athiests on this site.
Athiests are seen as fools on this site, and they would be seen as the same from door, to door, to door. Get some evidence or just fade away. You've got none, so adios.

I would invite them inside and be more than happy to discuss our different points of view. I do the same for the Jehovah's witnesses and Mormons who come knocking on my door. It only serves to strengthen my faith, while at the same time being a good witness for Christ Jesus.

First, no self-respecting atheist would go door to door.. they have better things to do frankly.
Second, they wouldnt try to sell you on their "beliefs." Atheist. Get it?
Third, I cant believe you took this from another question and even bothered to pose it.

I would do the same thing I do when religious people knock on my door. I'd slam the door in their face.

I would invite them in and have a nice pleasant conversation. I would listen to why they don't beleive in God, if they would listen to why I do. Just like I do with the mormons and JWs.

Tell them to go somewhere else as they would be wasting their time with me.
No point "preaching to the converted"

I'm sure we would have an interesting conversation. I would have many questions for them, but I don't think they would get a convert. (I don't have enough faith to be an atheist.)

I like it. Actually I won't be spreading my beliefs though, I will be spreading my lack of beliefs.
