Say "Excuse me there is a line, and it ends back there". I generally don't let people get away with cr*p like that - except really old people who are having obvious trouble standing.
For the old folks and parents with a tired screaming child - I offer to let them go in front of me.

It depends on my mood. If I'm in a bad mood I'll probably say "Na huh, no way, I was here, the back of the line is that way" Then point.
A good mood, probably nothing and just let it go and laugh. I was at a hotel checking out and this guy just waltzes in and says checking out for room __. And I was already standing there, even the Desk Clerks looked shocked. He was such an ***, I just let it go. If he has to go through his life with that attitude I'm sure he's suffered enough already.

I never (well almost never), let some dummies rudeness cause me to react to their being soo stupid!! I normally just say in a "polite", but well defined tone, "excuse me, I didn't mean to be in your way, but go ahead anyway, I've got another 50 or so years lef in me!!!" Other people hear, and smile cause I just made a total a@s of them, and there really isn't anywhere else to go with this!!! LOL Give it a try, its a Kodac moment for sure!!!

I would not let that happen, first. Second, if someone tried I would excuse them and get back to my rightful place in line. And let them know i was in line.

Tell him to wait in line like everyone else. I might call him a jerk too.

Well for me, it is depends on the person who skipped me. If it is a lady young or old, i would let them go ahead. But if it is a man, ill tell him to get behind me or other people

It's been done to me a few times. I just tell them "Excuse me, I was here first". They are usually apologetic after that.

I have responded a couple of different ways...
"Ahhh, you ain't that good looking Honey"
"You probably didn't see me standing here"
"I'm sure YOU think you are important but, not so much....end of the line is thata way..."
...and these are on 'good' days!
