Jesus is perfect, humans aren't. When people become Christians they don't suddenly become perfect, they still sin and mess up. Christians do try to be more like Jesus but other stuff always gets in the way. I probably would be a bit offended if you said that because you don't know me to judge whether I am 'Christlike' or not.

Haha. I'm a born-again Christian. Yea...I know where you're coming from. A lot of "Christians" these days have everything so messed up. I hope you get to meet some real Christians some day...
btw: don't pretend like you know the will of Christ

I wouldn't find it offensive at all, as a matter of fact, it is a much needed reminder to many whether they're Christian, Hindu, Muslim, Quakers, Shakers, Mormons or Sufi. Do it.

I found it more offensive when two baptist dudes had to be asked to leave after I told them I was sick and that I also had my sick daugher in my arms (my son had already let them in) and they just wouldn't shut up.

You are right we should be more like Christ and quit trying to change others. You see Christ did change others, and still does. So to be more Christlike I will not try and change you, only proclaim to you, what Christ proclaimed, in hopes He will choose to change you.
Unless you repent you will likewise perish.
