Are they any good? My son's been asking for one but I'm not convinced they're a good idea, I'd like to hear people's experience of them.
My son has a bike which he loves and uses regularly so its not instead of a bike.

I was looking them up for my nephew who is six and this is the reviews i got from friends. so i will not be buying one.
While this product has provided hours of fun for my children, something needs to be done about the peddles. We are already on our 2nd one and yet again the peddle keeps falling off. We returned the first one because the peddle fell off so many times, that it stripped the threads of the bolt which holds the peddle on. Now on our 2nd one, the peddle has fallen off yet again. This one has not stripped out yet, but then again, we have not tried to put it back on yet. We are really frustrated that this wonderful product has such a bad design.
The games are not challenging enough for a 4 year old boy. The race track doesn't seem to have any turns, just a straight path. My 4 year old gets bored after a few minutes.
I purchased this toy for my daughters birthday and she shares occasionally with our daycare children. We have had it for a week and are now returning it because it eats up the batteries way to quickly. I have had to put batteries into the Smart Cycle everyday that they use it (about 1/2 hour each time). It takes 4 D batteries
THIS WAS A TOY FOR MY DAUGHTERS 4TH BIRTHDAY AND SHE LOVES IT, HOWEVER THE GAME IS TO EASY FOR HER. MY 23MONTH LOVES IT ALSO AND CAN PEDAL THE BIKE MAINLY BACKWARDS BUT STILL SHE IS ONLY 23MONTHS AND IS LEARNING HER ABC'S AND 123'S. GREAT TOY JUST NEED TO MAKE THE GAME A LITTLE HARDER OR CHANGE THE AGE FOR THE TOY TO 2-4

Is this the Fisher-Price video game thing? I haven't bought one, but I'm thinking about it for my four-year-old. I'd be interested to hear if there are any reviews.

my niece has gotten one for her 3rd birthday.her 9 y.o. bro,her 12y.o. bro,me(almost 13 girl) and her always fight over it. im sure her and her brother fight over it more when im not there. she loves it.there is a game that comes with it and she also has a dora.she loves to play on it.hope i helped!
