Is the robot more prone to sex because you know how those women get. Wait does it have removable parts that can be replaced so its like a new one evry now and then. How open is the robot to other robots joining in. If i had another robot come over would the first get jealous. Oh does the robot cook. I mean really these are inpoirtant issues. Could the robot work and make a few bucks too.

First you would have to define what having a soul means. As an atheist, I don't believe that souls exist in real life. Given a choice between a human partner and a robotic partner, with the ONLY reasonably discernable differences being that the human is flawed but fertile while the robot is specifically tailored to be perfect for me but infertile...well, the robot is actually starting to sound like a pretty good deal. A lot of people probably think the idea of choosing the machine over the human is horribly repulsive, but I think those are mostly people who don't think of machines the right way, who are incapable of imagining that a robot could be so human.

As I am an adult and do not believe in fairy tales, neither of them have souls. So between the perfect robot mate or the damaged human... the perfect robot.

The answer should be obvious to anyone who isn't religiously delusional:
The robot. Since there are no such things as souls, faeries, trolls, unicorns, gods, etc., why would you want to deal with something imperfect if you had the choice. The first guy had a good question though, how hot IS the robot?
That would be the deciding factor.
(Spank me for being shallow.)
(Please.)
(No, seriously, spank me...)

I would never want a perfect mate, period. I think that love grows when we rely on someone to help ease our suffering. In order to understand suffering, and help others alleviate their own, we must be flawed in some way...

i'd rather have a damaged human mate with a damaged soul... reality with compassion is better that idealistic fantasy.
