Mary Poppins is NOT affected by the strike, so you're good to go.
actually, if the strike is still on tomorrow it might be the hottest ticket in town, so if you wanted to sell it instead, you probably could make double!

You may want to rethink this-the Broadway stagehands are on strike meaning almost all of the plays shut down. If you're still in the area check out the usual tourist attractions (Macy's, Times Square, Grand Central, Chinatown, Rockefeller Center, etc).

the majority of the shows are closed due to the strike, but I don't think mary poppins is effected. the tree has arrived at rockefeller center and the rink is open. you can get to see the tree trimmed while you are ice skating. go to madam toussand's wax muesuem, ripley's believe it or not (both on 42nd street bet. 7th and 8th ave). on 44th street and broadway is toys r us and you can go inside and ride the ferris wheel or see the mechanical dinosaur on the 3rd floor. check the windows at macys on 34th street to see if their xmas decorations r up (its from the movie the miracle of 34th street)

if you are still a big kid at heart, go to dave and buster's. you can eat, drink and play video games (they have a trivial pursuit video game, where you can win tickets for prizes)

have a great time
