1. Make sure you know your alergies BEFORE getting the flu shot (like eggs).
2. Make sure you get the viral kill shot. This one prevents the virus. Some shots actually give you a small amount of flu to build up an immunity to.
That having been said:
--I never go the flu until I got the shot.
--I have been hospitalized with the flu every time I got the shot.
--I havent gotten one in 3 years, and no problem.
--The "To flu or not to flu" commercials are cute, but they are by the people who are making money off the shots.

I had the flu years ago, it was horrible other than that I don't ever get sick either. However this year I got my first flu shot and it did hurt. Arm is sore for 3-4 days
Think of it this way a little pain or a week with the flu. You might not get the flu but why take a chance.

The flu virus that is injected in a Flu Shot is dead. It can not infect you with the flu. "If" you should get the flu after you have had the flu it is because you were already exposed to it.
Yes I get the Flu Shot. One I don't like having the Flu... Have had several times. And secondly if I get a cold it is not as bad as if you didn't have the flu shot.
Last year My husband and I had the same cold. He was well within 5 days. I was nearly 20 days getting over it and felt horrible! All because I missed getting my flu shot last year but he had his.
I had my shot today.

"I'm healthy, seldom get sick and don't believe I've ever had the flu."
There's a simple saying... If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
You're healthy with a strong immune system. Don't get the flu shot, some of the chemicals and products in the flu shot are actually designed to weaken your immune system so the body can properly learn how to fight off the flu. Odd mentality, but that's what they do.

The virus particles are dead. You won't get the flu from the shot. Plus, getting the flu really sucks. The benefit of getting the shot totally outweighs the risk, if there even is a risk.

I just got one two Fridays ago. I simply cannot afford to get the flu! The flu can take you down for weeks and I'm a single mom.
It's a dead flu virus injected into your body. It cannot make you sick, but a dead flu is enough to trick your body into making antibodies for it.

I always get the flu shot. The virus is DEAD so you are not getting flu injected into your body. You're getting the antibodies to fight the current strain of the flu.

Well my mom is big in nutrition so I know a little bit about this. It is really best not to get the shot. You are injecting the flu into your body and I'm pretty sure you can get the flu from that.
My sister's friend got the chicken pox vaccine and after that she got chicken pox.
Also if you are not sick that much, that is another reason you don't necessarily need the vaccine. Just make sure you wash your hands and stuff to keep sanitary.
I hope I was helpful!!
