Probably in about 1 month. Have you talked to your vet about scheduling her for spaying?

She is too old for her first litter and I doubt you have done the proper OFA certifications. Here is what the national breed club says about breeding pugs successfully. "Many people get a female Pug and decide perhaps they should breed a litter or get a male and decide to use him at stud. Both of these decisions require much thought, research, time and money. There is no benefit to the female to have a litter. Pugs frequently need caesarian sections to deliver their puppies. Any time a Pug is used for breeding, extensive health testing should be done first to ensure no health problems might be passed on. In spite of the growing popularity of Pugs, or perhaps because of it, there is also a growing need for Pug rescue across the country. Unwanted Pugs are surrendered every day and if you let your Pugs reproduce, you are responsible for any pups produced for the rest of their lives. You must be willing to take any dogs back that are no longer wanted, for whatever reason. Dogs will live healthier, longer lives if they are spayed or neutered, so we highly recommend this be done. "

Could be anytime now, smaller dogs usually go into heat sooner 5 1/2-10 months..my brothers jack russell x had her first heat at 5 1/2 months sooner than he expected cause he was going to get her spayed before it happened. If you plan on breeding don't breed on a first heat cycle and plus under a year for a small dog is way to young. If you don't plan on puppies then best to get her fixed now before she has her heat...pugs are not a easy birthing dog so something to look into.

All pugs are different when it comes to this. They can go into heat anywhere from 5 months to 18 months for the first time. I would talk to your vet to see when you can get her spayed. It is best to do it before the heat.

Never, if you book her in for spaying now.

If you don't know the answer to this question - and can't spell 'heat' you're obviously not a breeder and should not be allowing your dog to have pups. Therefore it's in the best interests of her health to get her spayed before her first season,

Spaying prevents ovarian and cervical cancer as well as pyometra. Pyometra is a nasty womb infection that 1 in 10 older unspayed b itches will get. It can be fatal, particularly if it's a close pyo.

1 in 4 unspayed females get mammary cancer, which usually ends up being the death of them even if you get the tumour removed because they almost always recurr. With every season the dog has, her chance of avoiding mammary cancer decreases - so get her spayed before her first heat to give her her best chance of avoiding this.

She will probably come in to season from about 6 months of age, dogs will sometimes come in to heat earlier. So you have a little time to get her done.

it is differant with all dogs, i would say maybe between 1-3 months. but that is TO YOUNG to breed a dog. wait till the dog is about a year and a half. no less, its not good for a "puppy" to have puppies. your dog is still a pup! shes not ready to be breed yet. just wait and be patient!

just a tip for u, if you plan on breeding, i hope that you do alot of research and look into it! make sure that you know what you are doing

Dogs go into heat around 6 months so if you're going to have her spayed that would be the time to do it.
