How can I make money without working!

No. You need either store bought or homemade cookie dough in order to make cookies.

You can't make omelets without eggs, either.

BTW I'm a former professional baker and every recipe some of you are giving comes down to it being cookie dough. It doesn't matter what ingredients one uses, the end result is still a dough which is being used to make cookies.

Hold on let me pull the magical cookie fairy out of my butt and have THAT just poof some onto a platter for you!?!?! Umm to my knowledge, i'm pretty sure you have to have dough. Now if you mean do you have to MAKE the dough, no. You can just buy break and bake or slice and bake at your grocery store. OR, there is a kind where you combine chinese noodles, peanut butter, and..... something else i can't think of and just clump them together and let them dry. Those are good!

Depends on if you get an egg with salmonella in it or not. I too love cookie dough and there's always a bit of a risk when you consume something with raw eggs in it but in all my years of baking and liking off the spoon at the the end I've yet to get sick *knock on wood* All it takes is some egg with salmonella, otherwise you could eat as much of it as you want and you wouldn't get sick.

There are cereals like oatmeal, corn flakes, bran from which cookies can be made without the need for cookie dough formulated from flour. Research on line.

Are those marzapan "cookies" even considered cookies. They are beaten up egg whites, sometimes with mini choc bits in them and brown sugar. That wouldn't be considered dough I don't think.

I do believe that cookie dough is required. If you don't have it pre-made you can make it yourself. It's pretty easy.
