Leviticus 17:11
‘For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’
The blood carries water and nourishment to every cell, maintains the body’s temperature, and removes the waste material of the body’s cells. The blood also carries oxygen from the lungs throughout the body. In 1616, William Harvey discovered that blood circulation is the key factor in physical life—confirming what the Bible revealed 3,000 years earlier. If the Bible is historically inaccurate, how did it know the value of blood 3000 years before science did?

The Bible has always been ahead of science. 300 years ago, scientist thought the Earth was flat. 4000 years ago, Isaiah wrote that God sat above the circle of the Earth, indicating the Earth was round.

PS. Not only is life in the blood, but sin, also is passed through the blood. That is why Jesus had no Earthly father.

Because they saw animals and/or people bleed to death.

It does not take a rocket scientist to work out that blood is important.

Meanwhile:
Leviticus 11:5 And the coney, because he cheweth the cud , but divideth not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.

Wrong. Hares are not ruminants.

Leviticus 11:13 And these are they which ye shall have in abomination among the fowls ; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the ossifrage, and the ospray, . . . .

11:19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.

Bats are fowl? I don't think so.

Leviticus 11:20 All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.

Well that's O.K. then, because there are no four legged fowls. I wonder why they added this though?

Leviticus 11:23 But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.

Do they mean those SIX legged insects?

To answer your question - No. definitely not.

While I totally agree the Bible is true. I think just about every society knows blood is important. You cut someone all their blood comes out and they die. This is an easy thing to observe.

curiously you have not discovered nicely, with the aid of fact the order you declare to be consistent with Genesis is erroneous. additionally, quite a few of those products ought to not look in the different order, and you're changing the meaning of particular words to examine your schedule. additionally, the "mild" of Genesis a million:3 and the "firmament lighting fixtures" of Genesis a million:14 betray the primitive information the author had of the "beginning up," with the aid of fact the sunlight is taken care of as different from different stars. in fact, it rather is not even referred to as a famous guy or woman. do not rationalize. it rather is not healthful.

Maybe if you forget that "rabbits chew their cud" and "bats are birds" part.

Along with all humans coming from Adam and Eve and all animals coming from a handful of the species that Noah took on the ark.

Oh and...

Also the life (eternal) of the flesh (mankind) is in the blood (Christ's atoning blood sacrifice). The wager for sin is death. Jesus paid its debt in full on our behalf. God is amazing.

Oh, yeah, it takes a lot of scientific knowledge to know that you can bleed to death. The Bible is OBVIOUSLY scientific even beyond its time...

Beyond which, that passage is about blood sacrifices, so I doubt it has anything to do with the meaning you're trying to fit it into.

Wow! If not for our only TRUE science book known as the Bible, we could never have figured out that people die when they bleed too much.

no, they don't!

science says nothing about a soul...only the body...

and it wasn't hard to figure out blood was "important" back then, people bled, then they died...or died, then bled...

the bible says nothing about blod doing the things you mentioned above...sorry it just DOESNT
