Seems to me the bible is taken too literal, Instead of being created in 6 days i think its more like 6 billion years, I think dinosaurs were long gone before the flood and i dont think the ark could have held two of every kind of animal, I dont believe Adam and Eve were the first humans but more like the first in Christs Lineage, And what about the Wooly Mammoth found in Siberia, Is it possible for the japanese to clone the DNA from a 13,000 year old Elephant? And UFO'S? I dont believe in life on other planets, I mean, If there were i think we would have sent them foreign aid by now!

Q1: some human beings say precisely that. Adam and Eve's infants married one yet another and their nieces and nephews. Their genetics have been so organic that it did no longer reason a situation till plenty later down the line. some say they have been the 1st Homo Sapien Sapiens, and their infants mated with the cromagnon human beings and Cain mated with the Neanderthals. Q2: that must be 450 ft long, seventy 5 ft huge, and 40 5 ft severe. some say there became into in simple terms the conventional species and version from those person-friendly species got here later. some say it became right into a worldwide flood, yet there have been human beings and animals in different areas that survived besides. "the worldwide" ability the huge-unfold worldwide of the time. The Bible describes the Nephelim descendants combating Noah's descendants years after the super flood.

Just answering on "Seems to me the bible is taken too literal"...
I recognize that not all sections of the Bible are literal, I'm sure most christians agree on this. Lord Jesus and other prophets used paraboles which are not literal narration as a way of teaching a point. Other writters used other writting styles too. The point of disagreement is which parts are literal and which are not. Im in the side that thinks that the first section of Genesis from Adam & Eve up to Abraham are NOT symbolic, but literal. The only part I may agree is that maybe the creation days were lot more of 24 hours.
* Dinosaurs on Noah's ark? If any kind of dinosaurs were alive by the time of Noah, two of those entered in the ark, unless they were acuatic dinosaurs. All aquatic animals (fish, whales, octopus, lobster, etc) stayed out. The book of Job decribes some animals (for example behemot) that some people think is the hippopotamus, but the description in the Bible says his tail was as thick as a tree. The tail of the hippopotamus does not fit the description, I only can think of the tails of many dinosaurs to be that thick. Was the behemot a type of dinosaur that lived for some time with man?
* Adam & Eve? First humans on Earth and all mankind comes from those two, including of course Mary, mother of Jesus. They were created by God, not evolved from other lifeform.
* Frozen Mammoth in siberia? Created by God when He created the other mammals o Earth.
* Unidentified Flying Objects? Please check my opinion on life in other planets below.
* Creation in six days? I'm open to accept that those six periods were longer than 24 hours, but not to accept evolution as the method used by God to have all the variety of animals and plants in this world.
* Two of every kind of animals in the ark? I think yes, there were two of each kind. However, there are multiple ways to classify a set of objects or in this case animals. How detailed was the classification term "kind" in Noah's time vs today? Are all dogs just one kind, or are bulldogs a kind different to beagles? Are the shire horses (draught horse, with powerful and muscular build, a dense rounded body, a broad back, strong loins, powerful hind-quarters, and long legs with dense bones) and the arabian horses (refined, wedge-shaped heads, a broad forehead, large eyes, large nostrils, and small muzzles) one kind or two? The number of pairs of animals that Noah had to keep at the ark may lot less than some think.
* Jappanesse clonning dead elephant from centuries ago? Not sure if Japan's (or any other country's) technology can work with so old genetic material.
* Life in other plantes. I do not know if God decided to create life in other planets/galaxies, nor the technology achievements like space travel. they could have reached (if they exists). The focus oof the Bible is the relation of God with mankind (us, in Earth), and do not discuss life in other planets.

Here's the thing - if you want to honest with yourself, you cannot say the earth is 4-5 billion years old AND the Bible is correct. Here's why:
According to the Bible, there was no sin before Adam and Eve. If there was no sin, there was no death.
But if the earth is billions of years old and the dinosaurs existed before man, then death existed before man.
There's a great contradiction here. If one is a Christian, one MUST believe in the literal six days...or else they are not being honest with themselves.

I am a Christian but also a realist. The Bible is not meant to be taken literally - It is a book of stories to help people live better lives. It was also how ancient people explained the world around them.
