It depends on what you are hunting. .22 for small game, and the .30-.30 fr large game. Personally I would keep them both and go out and buy a 12 gauge shotgun also. Those three guns are all a person needs for their collection. You can hunt anything on this continent with them.

The 22 can be used for small game hunting, squirrels, rabbits etc. The 30-30 is an excellent deer hunting rifle.
Since you don't know much about guns I suggest you take them to someone who does before you try to shoot them.

Depends on what you are hunting. The gun manufacturer does not mean so much as caliber. The .22 will do for small game such as squirrels and rabbits or just sport shooting. The 30-30 could suffice for larger game as deer at short distances, but is not the best caliber by choice. A larger caliber is recommended for quicker and more humane kills.

The .22 is good for bunnies and tin cans. the 30-30 is good for deer. If you don't know much about hunting I suggest taking a hunter safety course offered at most sporting/hunting stores.

It really all depends on what your hunting. For small game such as squirrel and rabbit the .22 lr is what you are needing.
The 30/30 is a good deer rifle for shots under 100 yds. and the winchester is 22 short (s) long (l) and long rifle (lr).
hope this helps
