Navy Boot camp is 8 weeks
It is located in Great Lakes, IL
OCS is 8 weeks also if I remember right.
It is located in Pensacola, FL
You get into OCS by either being a collage graduate or by being in the navy and applying for a commision.

So far as how you get into OCS that requires a fairly in depth answer. The basics are that you need to be in decent physical condition, possess a bachelor's degree in any subject, and not have anymore than a minor criminal record. Navy boot camp is located at Great Lakes Naval Station north of Chicago. It is 9 weeks long. OCS is also located at Great Lakes. These questions could be more thouroughly answered by a recruiter and you should certainly speak with one. He will be happy to provide you all the information you seek and more. Good luck.

totally different programs. Boot Camp is for enlisted personnel and is 9 weeks long in Great Lakes IL. OCS is for Officer candidates, and you must have a 4 year degree to even be considered, and even that that isn't enough. It is 12 weeks long and is now up in Rhode Island( Used to be in Pensacola FL, but recently moved to the same place as OIS)

Just to let people know that if you don't have a college degree when going in you can still get one and become an Officer while in the Navy. Look at Seaman to Admiral-21 https://www.sta-21.navy.mil/
