I'm 5'8" and my wife is 5'0". However in the past, I have dated women who were my height or taller. It never bothered me either, but on occasion it did bother the girl I was dating. Their loss.
One guy I knew in the Army was about 5'6", yet he was a complete babe magnet for girls of any height. The best advice is to be confident, work with what you got and not to get insecure about your height.

I'm taller, but I wouldn't want to date a girl who's a lot taller than I am, maybe an inch or 2. But not like a professor I know. He's 6'7 and his wife's 5'4!
