how many tatooos do you have?
- I have 2

so when did you get your tatoos?
- One at 18, the other at 20 or 21 (can't remember)

what do you think they will look like when you get older?
- I think that they will both look good.

will you want them removed if they got all saggy and didnt look cool anymore? - No

what kind of tatoo did you get? One is a butterfly, the other is an African symbol of love

would you rather not have got it? No, I love them both

what tatooo parlor did you get them done at? A parlor in my hometown and then a parlor in Adams Morgan in DC

what did your friends think of them? They liked them

when you were younger did you ever get a henna tatoo? No

was it hard to take care of? Not really. The one on my belly was a bit annoying because it is right where pants are around your waist. I got it in the summer, so I would just wear a long shirt and have my pants unbuttoned to give it a little bit more room to breathe

I have one tattoo on the inside of my wrist. I think it will fade a bit as I age but not change terribly. I just got it a month ago. If it got saggy I guess I would just have to deal with it, I wouldn't remove it. My tattoo is a dark brown peace sign about the size of a quarter. I don't regret it at this point in time. I am 18 and got it a month ago at a parlor called classic tattoo in SoCal. My friends love it, it's cute and has a great message. I have had henna and it was very easy to take care of as long as you let it dry and flake off on it's own.

I have 5 tattoos.

I got my first on my 18th birthday, I got 3 when I was 22, and
the most recent right before my 24th birthday.

I'm not sure what they'll look like. I kinda can't wait to see.

I wouldn't ever consider removing my tattoos. I didn't get them to look cool, I got them because I love them. I look forward to wearing my saggy tattoos like badges of honor. I want to be able to sit my grandchild on my lap and have them look at my tattoos with a sense of wonder.

I have 3 script, black and grey tattoos, and 2 color images.

I don't regret getting my tattoos at all. I wouldn't change anything about them.

18, 22, 23

River City Tattoo

My friends think I'm crazy. I think they appreciate the beauty of them though.

I got a henna tattoo once. I was in 9th grade and this dude that had a crush on me was working at the henna booth at Riverfest (my high school's spring concert festival) He gave me the lamest looking eye ever.

The henna tattoo, or the real tattoos? Either way the answer is no. I really didn't give a sh*t about the henna, and taking care of a tattoo is easy if you know what you're doing.

I think you pose a lot of valuble questions, especially if you are considering a tattoo yourself.

1.) I have 19 different sessions of ink

2.)I started getting tattoos when i turned 18, I'm now 22 and still get them regularly

3.)As far as when i'm older, I think I'll be the coolest Granny on the block! ;o)

4.)I wouldn't remove ANY of my tattoos...of all my work, there is only one that I have reservations about (but on the other hand, it can be fixed). I was stupid and got a tattoo on a whim when I went to the coast. Don't go to an artist you're not familiar with. Find an amazing artist (they're out there!), and stick with 'em!

5.) I have lots of different tattoos, but they're all pretty much old school style stuff... I love that "Sailor Jerry" style

6.) I am glad i have my tattoos. It's the most liberating form of self expression there is, hands down...also, I'm surprised at what a positive response I get. There have only been a few people who seemed "put off' by my work.

7.) I go to Creative Designs in Lemoore, CA. My artist's name is Chris Williams, and he's AMAZING. He's not only a tattoo artist, but a painter as well. He is into a lot of artistic ventures, and it really shows in his work. If you're in the area, check them out (559) 925-TAT2

8.) My friends love my art. I've inspired lots of people to get work themselves. However, I don't think anyone should become a tattoo collector unless they really love what they are getting and really want it on their bodies for life.

9.) I never got a henna Tattoo

-OK! I hope some of these answers are helpful to you! Good luck!

I have 2 large tattoos

I am still in the process of finishing them

I think they will look fine as I age

I would never want them removed for any reason

I have a tribal leg sleeve done it has a swimmer swimming to the stars and 4 turtles following it with a gaelic saying and tribal pieces framing it all

the second is a fullback piece with a skull surrounded by 2 roses and 2 rosebuds forming the roots to a tree whose branches are strangling hearts I have a skull with wings near he top of the trees and a reaper near the trunk and a large moon over the top part of the tree with a special prayer written in it

I am very happy to have themand the life exeriences they represent

My step daughter did them in my home

my friends all cry with me when they see them for they know the story
many ppl on the street have stopped me to say they are awesome

never got a henna

they are not hard to take care of it is simply just normal wound and skin care

i have two tattoos, both dragons. i got them when i was 19 and 21 (over 20 years ago when i was into watching martial arts movies). i am getting 2 more tattoos on December 15th. one is a band that will go around my right bicep. it is a repeating picture of an archer kneeling down and drawing back his bow. the second is a Zuni heartline of a deer. it is like a cave drawing but represents the life force of the animal (i have been into bow hunting for some time now).

i sometimes regret the dragons, but not the tattoos. i am going to look into getting the dragon on my left arm extended into a half sleeve. we'll see because i don't think the wife will go for that.

i got the first in Allentown, PA and the 2nd in Feasterville, PA. the next two will be from a tattoo artist in Vestal, NY.

as far as taking care of them, just put body lotion on them every couple of days if not every day to keep them moisturized.

I have two professional tats and several tats that I used my own body to learn on so I didn't F^%$$ someone else.

I was 15 when I got my first tat my mom thought if I got one I would stop drawing on myself man was she ever wrong.

Tats never look good with age so I image they'll look real crappy.

Never plan to remove them.

I have a black panther on my left arm clawing through my skin and a Koi on my right arm. I have a rose on my right shoulder that my first tat. I have a cross I did on my legg and a dragon I started on my ankle and so on.

I did some work on my hands practicing I wish I had never done it thier but other than tat no.

I was 15 when I got my first.

It was in an underground shop done for free, my mom was biker so one of her friend who did tats did it for me.

Some people thought it was cool and others didn't like it so much it labled me a trouble maker for some reason just for a tat.

Never had a henna tat.

My arms since I'm a mechanic was hard to keep clean.

Lets see...i have one tattoo (for now, many more to come in the near future, including a blacklight tat). I got it about a month ago (im 18btw). Im not sure what it will look like when i get older..probably a weird black blob on my back, but i still wouldnt want it removed, its part of my life now, and it will always be there. Its the Godsmack tribal sun, with my zodiac symbol in the center, and i love it. (its not just my love for the band, i loved the sun even before i knew it was even related to Godsmack). I got it done at Head 2 Toe. My friends love it, and it has inspired them to get some ink too. Yes, i have gotten a henna tattoo, and that has partially inspired me to get my next one. And, lastly, no, it was not hard to take care of..just pretty much keep it clean and moisutrized.

I have 3 tattoos. I can't get enough of them. I got them all each month that passed. They look great. I show off the rose on my foot alot, and the one on my back only close friends can see and the one on my wrist I carry with pride. The only one that hurt me the most was the one on my foot and it wasn't the tattoo itself it was the fact I pulled a muscle from standing still. It wasn't hard at all to take care of them it was really easy. My idol of having tattoos when I am older is my friend Ellie. She is in her late 50's and covered with tattoos... she took me when I was only 17 for my first one... I love her and that is how I know I am not going to regret my tattoos.
